Has Obama already responded to the Texas Secession Petition?...

Has Obama already responded to the Texas Secession Petition?
With the present regime, it is necessary to look at what they do and not the smoke and mirrors of what they say. With their actions, the Obama regime may have already responded. How? you may ask. The answer lies in the creation of more debt. All the talk about extending the debt limit is not just about economics. It is about creating such a giant hole of debt that no State can ever leave from. Whether or not it is intentional or unintentional, the regime is taking steps making it harder for Texas to leave peacefully. The regime has answered with their actions. They are not only saying “NO”, they are saying “We are taking you to the depths of Hell NO!” The actions and arrogance of the regime is of a nihilistic sort. They are taking the empire to financial hell in a handbag rather than listen to the people. What makes it worse is that many of the republican politicoes are selling out for their bowl of porridge. They are not fighting for us, but rather for themselves and their own personal affluence. Unless there are major changes in the next few weeks, the answer from the regime is clear. It is also clear that they have not studied their history. When we left before, it was after an election. It also only took us between 90-120 days to make it happen. Instead of being taken deeper in debt, we need sound economic policies. You can not tax yourself or spend yourself to prosperity. Liberty for...

Parting Company

Parting Company
For decades, it has been obvious that there are irreconcilable differences between Americans who want to control the lives of others and those who wish to be left alone. Which is the more peaceful solution: Americans using the brute force of government to beat liberty-minded people into submission or simply parting company? In a marriage, where vows are ignored and broken, divorce is the most peaceful solution. Similarly, our constitutional and human rights have been increasingly violated by a government instituted to protect them. Americans who support constitutional abrogation have no intention of mending their ways. Since Barack Obama’s re-election, hundreds of thousands of petitions for secession have reached the White House. Some people have argued that secession is unconstitutional, but there’s absolutely nothing in the Constitution that prohibits it. What stops secession is the prospect of brute force by a mighty federal government, as witnessed by the costly War of 1861. Let’s look at the secession issue. At the 1787 constitutional convention, a proposal was made to allow the federal government to suppress a seceding state. James Madison, the acknowledged father of our Constitution, rejected it, saying: “A Union of the States containing such an ingredient seemed to provide for its own destruction. The use of force against a State would look more like a declaration of war than an infliction of punishment and would probably be considered by the party attacked as a dissolution of all previous compacts by which it might be bound.” On March 2, 1861, after seven states had seceded and two days before Abraham Lincoln’s inauguration, Sen. James R. Doolittle of Wisconsin proposed a constitutional amendment that said, “No State or any part thereof, heretofore admitted or hereafter admitted into the Union, shall have the power to withdraw from the jurisdiction of the United States.” Several months earlier, Reps. Daniel E. Sickles of New York, Thomas B. Florence of Pennsylvania and Otis S. Ferry of Connecticut proposed a constitutional amendment to prohibit secession. Here’s my no-brainer question: Would there have been any point to offering these amendments if secession were already unconstitutional? On the eve of the War of 1861, even unionist politicians saw secession as a right of states. Rep. Jacob M. Kunkel of Maryland said, “Any attempt to preserve the Union between the States of this Confederacy by force would be...

Indoctrination, not education

Indoctrination, not education
have often said that “First they came for the Confederates, then the Founding Fathers and then finally the Christians”. At first, my comments was just an observation on the patterns of the Nazi regime in Germany as elaborated by Dietrich Bonhoffer. (Bonhoffer said, “First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.”) My variant on Bonhoffer has proven truer than I would like. It was in the news that at a Texas school, the Boston Tea Party participants were portrayed as ‘terrorists’. It shouldn’t surprise me, being that this approach was forwarded by the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (When the name includes the term collaborative or collective in its title, you know its orientation). It is tragic that our sons and daughters are being misled by their teachers. When I see stories like this, I do not feel bad about reduced school budgets. If they are presenting such garbage as ‘education’, the budgets need to be cut. What is being presented is indoctrination, NOT education. What I read of the article is not even factually correct. The patriots involved had already purchased the tea. It was their property that was being destroyed, not someone else’s. There was no terrorism involved in the Boston Tea Party. Such lesson plans present the founding of the Republic as a terrorist act, which it was not. It ridicules the founding fathers and their ideas. It indoctrinates children to dismiss the founding documents. I hope that those of you who have your children in the government indoctrination centers consider the ramifications of what is going on. Instead of having your children brain-washed, they need truth and liberty. Liberty for Texas! J...

Propaganda and Ken Burns

Propaganda and Ken Burns
Documentary Propaganda maker, Ken Burns weighed in on the secession issue. It should not amaze you that he makes the preposterous claim that secession is about ‘racism’. It was bad enough that he distorted and bent history with his propaganda, now he wants to claim that wanting to leave a corrupt empire is about ‘racism’. If this is a taste of his analysis of current political issues, it is no wonder he does such a hatchet job with his propaganda films. His name calling should not surprise us, since many of the liberal Yankee establishment wants to pigeon hole every speech, or action that may lead to increased liberty as a form of racism. The Yankee empire often demonizes those who oppose their agenda and reject their spokespersons. By demonizing us and calling us names, they do not have to think through the issues. They do not have to deal with all the Texans who have lost their jobs due to government regulations, or programs. They do not care when Texas families suffer need from natural disasters. They do not care about what happens on our borders until we talk about independence. It is when we talk about independence that they attempt slapping us down with name calling and threats. They did it in 1836, they did it in 1845 and again in 1860. The Yankee empire has often spoke disparagingly of Texas and the values we cherish, yet they are fast to want Texans to pay into their empire. As Texans we need to realize that Ken Burns is an establishment propagandist. Like Nazi film crews, he manufactures and keeps the myths of the empire going. In this case, it is the Yankee empire. He promotes the empire and its values. With visual stimulation, he deceives and distorts history in such a manner that Southerners are prejudged and condemned as the bad guys. We are ‘demonized’, our history is demonized and our heroes are ridiculed. Instead of watching Ken Burns propaganda, reject it. Reject the lies and the hate coming from this New Hampshire resident. League Cited as Start of Secession Movement...

League Cited as Start of Secession Movement
IN a recent article from the Hill by Bernie Quigley, the League of the South is credited with starting the secession movement. Quigley is a blogger from the DC area. He correctly identifies a root issue being one of authority. The regime has lost it’s legitimate authority to speak for the people, and the candidates are each vying to represent people who lost their voices long ago. For those who wonder, are we making an impact, the answer is YES. Many now view secession as an option in terms of dealing with the challenges of local communities, States and the empire. This is not something that would have been considered 40 years ago by the many people. We need to continue forward. We need out nation back. We need a return to times when the ten commandments could be posted in public, when we could speak out without concerns of political correctness or the latest term “bullying”. (Is it any wonder that some meddling New York State Senators want to propose an anti-Bullying bill which would undermine free speech? Once a meddlin’ Yankee, always a meddling Yankee. They just can’t stay away from telling others how to live.) We need a nation that defends its borders, even if it means offending CAIR. We need a nation that does not insist on imperialistic wars where young men and women are sent to die for some multi-national company, we need a nation that treats us as citizens and not as subjects. We need freedom to think critically and discuss matters of concern. We need liberty! Liberty for Texas! J...
